Amethyst is February’s birthstone, typically a deeper purple in color. This more rare Uruguayan Amethyst Druzy is a lighter, more pale color with a sugary appearance. Amethyst is said to attract positive, spiritual energy into your body and space. It calms and cools excessive emotions and eases you into a more meditative state. Other metaphysical properties claim Amethyst heals diseases of the lungs and respiratory tract, skin conditions, cellular disorders and diseases of the digestive tract.
