Designer & Founder Angela “Angie” Gianfrancesco has been creating jewelry under the Stella Blue Design name since 2008. After more than a decade on Southport Avenue, Stella Blue has entered a new chapter with an exclusive studio + showroom in West Lakeview. The space hosts private appointments, seasonal showcases, trunk shows, and special events—while opening to the public during key holidays.

Since its inception, Stella Blue Design has crafted thousands of unique pieces, from engagement rings to everyday essentials and bold statement jewelry. Angie specializes in redesign, giving old treasures new meaning, and remains committed to natural gemstones and certified diamonds. Her curated collection also features fine and vintage jewelry, with the brand’s mission unchanged: quality over quantity, always.

Now a sought-after name in Chicago, Stella Blue has expanded to nationally recognized retailers, including Macy’s on State Street. Every piece reflects Angie’s love of distinctive gemstones—favorites include Labradorite, Moonstone, Sleeping Beauty Turquoise, Quartz varieties, and Rustic Diamonds.

Eclectic, sophisticated, and natural, Stella Blue Design offers both timeless staples and striking statement pieces, inspired by music, nature, culture, and the stories of each client. A “deadhead” at heart, Angie finds joy in live shows, driving her ’65 VW bus, gardening, and spending time with her loyal companion, Leroy Brown.
